The surgery has started a virtual GP and pharmacist service, that’s based at the practice. This is a telephone service for patients who:

  • need to speak to a GP regarding a medical issue or a pharmacist regarding a medication issue; but
  • don’t need to come to the surgery

This pilot service is a further component of the recent Prime Minister’s Challenge Fund project, MyHealthcare.  This was awarded to the surgery to help improve access for patients. The Virtual Hub will run seven days a week, in addition to our normal in-surgery GP services.

You can choose between the virtual and the traditional service – whichever is more convenient. You just book your appointment through our reception team as normal.
